8 Mar

Every Friday, 1 artist/painter/poet/writer, letting their work speak for itself.

Oregon McClure

Half- Oregon McClure

Oregon McClure is inclined to write at midnight hours. Some of these scribblings can be found on his tumblr, at www.figleafedition.tumblr.com

In a more breviloquent form, they can be found interspersed with salty repostes on his twitter, www.twitter.com/oregonmcclure

When we were younger

and we lived without pavement

eight miles looked like infinity

but I would’ve walked nine

if you had lived that far

I am not sure if we understood

what love was

but I’m not sure if we do now either

is childhood’s love more pure

when there aren’t conditions and rules

when there aren’t lists of wants

and lists of do nots

how old were we when jealousy first struck

it hurt, didn’t it

I am much older

and still don’t understand it

or a lot of things

and jealous pangs hurt as much now

as they did then

but it is nice to look at life

and wish for eight miles again

Do get in touch if you would like to be showcased.
