if I can only
hold the you with blurred edges,
the world a vignette
photograph at the moon’s rise,
then it’s enough. I’ll take it.

to Iphis

the flow between our curves; leave
her body perfect.
I would kiss her soft lips as
they are, entwine our limbs, hearts.
